Cindy Winchell
President/CEO – cwaexec@aol.com

Cindy has been the President/CEO of C. Winchell Agency since May 1992. After many years as Recruiting Manager for Acme Employment Service in NJ, specializing in the Recruitment of Insurance Professionals, it was time to “branch out” on her own.

C. Winchell Agency was originally established in the basement of her house, then moved to office space and ultimately “larger” office space. The Agency has a solid track record of placing approximately 300-400 insurance professionals every year. In 2006, the sudden death of her husband and business partner, Charles Winchell, could not and did not deter her total commitment and devotion to C. Winchell Agency. With a dedicated staff of Recruiters and Administrative support personnel, the Agency is stronger and more successful than ever!

Tina Doyle

Tina has her work cut out for her! As the Executive Assistant to the President, Cindy Winchell, she is “the driver of the bus!” Tina joined C. Winchell Agency in 2004 after relocating to the Poconos from Detroit. Handling all of the President’s administrative, corporate and personal matters, she is also our special events coordinator and creative branding specialist.

Aaron Winchell

After graduating college with a Bachelor’s Degree in 1994, Aaron began his insurance career in Underwriting with Greater New York Insurance, moving on to Kemper Insurance and Tower Insurance Group. He joined “the family business” here at C. Winchell Agency in 2000. With the untimely passing of Chuck Winchell, our Executive Vice President in late 2006, Aaron stepped into his father’s role and became responsible for all our Accounting, Financial, Human Resources and Benefits Administration issues.

Cassandra Banko

Cassandra Banko holds the distinction of being the longest tenured employee of C. Winchell Agency. She began her career with us in 1996 responsible for the development of our Accounting, Financial and Reinsurance areas and is now also our Lead Recruiter for Underwriting and Operations. She handles the placement of candidates in the Tri-State area so successfully that she has held the title of Outstanding Sales Performer for the agency for 15 of her 21 years.

Barbara Sauers

Barbara has worked her way up through the ranks at C. Winchell Agency since beginning her career here in 1999. She has progressed from Administrative Manager to the Manager of Administration and Operations, Marketing Specialist and now Recruiting Specialist Barbara works in tandem with Lisa in the placement and recruitment of our NY and CT Agency/Broker clientele. Barbara doubles her efforts with C. Winchell Agency as Administration and Systems Manager, as well as a “multitasking” wizard!

C. Winchell Agency WELCOMES to our family, Lisa Quinones. Lisa comes to us as a “transplant” to The Poconos from her life long residence in Long Island. She recently moved closer to her parents here in Stroudsburg, PA. Lisa started her career out with Liberty Mutual, moving on to Aetna Casualty and then graduating to the agency/broker side of the business where she spent many years in commercial account management and marketing for Rampart Brokerage and Amerisc (now USI). We are thrilled to have her with us to handle, specifically, our New York and Connecticut agency/broker recruiting efforts.

Winchell Agency, she is well known with all of our clients and candidates and is another “main stay” for the Agency. Due to Kathy's dedication and drive she has been promoted and is now responsible for our NJ/PA/DE Agency/Broker recruiting desk.

We truly “lucked out” with this one, as Terry is bringing to our team over 20 + years of Agency/Broker - Commercial Account experience. As a 9/11 survivor from AON, there is no doubt that she possesses the stamina, intuition, fortitude, people skills and “life lessons” to recruit and place our NJ and PA broker candidates.

Danielle Batista

Danielle is originally from Australia, relocating here to the U.S. in 2006. After getting married, she and her husband moved to the Poconos from NJ. Danielle had worked in banking for 7 years, where she became acquainted with the employees of C. Winchell Agency. The “favorite teller” at the bank always joked about wanting to come work for

C. Winchell Agency and when an opportunity came up, the joking became a reality. Danielle is the Administrative Secretary to the Vice President, Cassandra Banko, Lisa Quiñones, Claims Recruiting Specialist and back up to Tina, Executive Assistant to the President.

Allison DiFusco

Allison started out her Administrative career at Zurich Insurance in New York. As a Long Island native, Ali relocated to PA in 2001. After raising her 3 children she decided to re-enter the workforce. C Winchell Agency was lucky enough to have her join our family. Ali now maintains the enormous file room of over 30,000 hard copy applicant files and resumes for the entire agency as well as many other administrative/secretarial duties that help the office run more efficiently.

Marie Gleason
Internet/ Marketing Research Specialist – marie@cwinchellagency.com

Marie joined us in late 2016. Originally from NY, Marie moved here to The Poconos in 1986. After raising her children and supporting her husband with his local business, she took the LEAP and went back to college! Marie earned a Bachelors Degree in Service Management from East Stroudsburg University in 2016. She is a WHIZ on the computer and our internal insurance recruiting systems and databases. Searching resumes on various boards and engines is her key responsibility for C. Winchell Agency. Having a super high energy level makes everyday with Marie “fun times” here at C. Winchell Agency.


The Agency is entirely computerized with "state of the art" hardware and software, which enables us to maintain total confidential control of all our clients and applicants. We have numerous built-in, cross-referencing capabilities and have a long established "web-site" on the Internet at www.cwinchellagency.com. Each week you can find an average of close to 500 jobs on our website, along with 100 of our top jobs listed on CareerBuilder, Monster, JobFox, LinkedIn, Ladders and many others.

Since opening the Agency, we have placed individuals in P&C positions at more than 800 client companies, including many of the largest national P&C insurers and their subsidiaries, a large number of domestic and international reinsurers as well as the top national brokers, large-mid sized regional brokers as well as many, "main street" agencies. Our client base also includes the most well-known claim service/TPA's and large self insured corporations for in-house claims and risk management personnel.

You will note that the majority of the experience of our employees is insurance-related, and our recruiting firm does not become involved in any other field. Within the insurance industry, we handle Underwriters, Claim Professionals, Accountants, Agency Account Representatives, Programmers & System Analysts, Human Resources, Reinsurance and all other areas of Operations, Product Development, Marketing & Support as well as Life, Health and Benefits.

We would like to point out that we are not "head hunters". We do not "raid" our client companies. Rather, we rely on networking, referrals and the Internet through various search engines, along with current applicants to locate appropriate candidates for our client companies. All such candidates are interviewed extensively and we do not refer candidates unless we believe they truly "fit" the position in question. We will also do reference checks whenever requested by a client to do so. We do not, however, do credit or criminal checks.
