Cindy Winchell
President/CEO – cwaexec@aol.com

Cindy Winchell is the Founder, President/CEO of C. Winchell agency since its inception in 1992. Her tenure in both Contingency Recruiting and Human Resources Talent Acquisition spans over 35 years. In conjunction with her over all management and ownership responsibilities she still remains actively entrenched in the recruitment of higher level and specialized searches for the company’s long established client base. The Agency has a continuous and successful track record of placing 300-400 insurance Professionals each and every year. In 2006, the sudden death of her husband and business Partner Chuck Winchell, also a veteran Insurance/Reinsurance Claims Executive for over 30 years, could not, and did not deter her total commitment and devotion to the continued success and growth of C. Winchell Agency. With a dedicated staff of experienced Insurance Recruiters/Talent Acquisition Specialists and Administrative and Marketing support Personnel, C. Winchell Agency has established itself as one of the TOP RECRUITING FIRMS In the NorthEast.



Tina Doyle
Executive Assistant to the President, Cindy Winchell - tina@cwinchellagency.com

Tina has her work cut out for her! As the Executive Assistant to the President, Cindy Winchell, she is “the driver of the bus!” Tina joined C. Winchell Agency in 2004 after relocating to the Poconos from Detroit. There is not an administrative function within the company that Tina has not done during her tenure here. Currently handling all of the President’s administrative, corporate and personal matters since 2007, she is also our special events coordinator and creative branding specialist.

Aaron Winchell

Aaron joined the “family business” back in 2000, after having a successful insurance Career as an MultiLine and HPR Underwriter with Greater NY Insurance, Kemper and Tower Insurance Group. Aaron holds a Bachelors Degree from Montclair State College (now University) and came into the company," learning the ropes” in Recruiting, company operations and accounting. With the untimely passing of his father, Chuck Winchell in 2006, Aaron stepped into his fathers role and is responsible for all of our Accounting/Financial, Human Resources, Benefits Administration and general management of the company and staff.

Cassandra Banko

Cassandra Banko holds the distinction of being the longest tenured employee of C. Winchell Agency. She began her career with us in 1996, after an 8 year career with PNC Bank and is responsible for the continued development and growth of our Accounting, Financial, Reinsurance and Operations areas. Cassandra's success within C. Winchell Agency and the Insurance industry has led to her title of Outstanding Sales Performer during her entire tenure here with the company.

Barbara Sauers

Barbara has worked her way up through the ranks at C. Winchell Agency since beginning her career here in 1999. As overall Marketing Manager for all areas of the company, Barbara splits her time between obtaining new positions and finding new candidates, working closely with our Internet Marketing Specialist, Marie. Barbara’s career with C. Winchell Agency began as an Administrative Assistant, to Administrative Staff Manager, then Operations and Systems Administration - which she is still doing along with all of her other responsibilities!!! - to Recruiting Specialist, Marketing Representative and now her current role as Marketing Manager. We don’t believe that there is a role here at C. Winchell Agency that Barbara hasn’t touched upon! Dedicated, hardworking, committed and a “multi-tasking wizard”!!!

Lisa Quinones

Lisa comes to us as a “transplant” to The Poconos from her life-long residence in Long Island. She recently moved closer to her parents here in Stroudsburg, PA. Lisa started her career out with Liberty Mutual, moving on to Aetna Casualty and then graduating to the agency/broker side of the business where she spent many years in claims and marketing for Rampart Brokerage and Amerisc (now USI). We are thrilled to have her with us to handle our NY & CT Agency/Broker recruiting desk!

Allison DiFusco

Ali joined C. Winchell Agency in early 2018, however, her past experience with Zurich Insurance in NYC as an Administrative Assistant has skyrocketed her here at the Agency. For the last year, Ali has learned all aspects of the functionality of C. Winchell Agency. She has taken to it so quickly and easily it made us wonder why? Come to find out, her father, in his younger years owned a Recruiting firm in NY!!!! What a coincidence!

Ali has been promoted to a Recruiting Assistant where she works side by side with Lisa Quinones, our NY/CT Agency/Broker Recruiting Specialist. Our two prior New Yorkers make a super dynamic team!

Kathy Hernandez

C. Winchell Agency has the great fortune of having Kathy with us since 2002! With so many years with C. Winchell Agency, she is well known with all of our agency/broker clients and candidates and is an important “main stay” for the Agency. As the “Ying” to Terry’s “Yang,” Kathy utilizes all of her knowledge and expertise to ensure success for this very busy team.

Terry Chartier

As C. Winchell Agency’s newest RECRUITER, Terry’s 20+ years of agency/broker Commercial Account Management experience combined with her stamina, intuition and people skills play an integral part in recruiting and placing OUR NJ, PA and DE agency/ broker candidates. Her professional history is formerly with FM Global, Aon, Willis, and Schechner Lifson. She doesn’t do it alone, but is partnered with Kathy Hernandez, Marketing Specialist. This combo offers both our candidates and clients, one “dynamite A-Team.”

Danielle Batista

Danielle is originally from Australia, relocating here to the U.S. in 2006. After getting married, she and her husband moved to the Poconos from NJ. Danielle had been working at PNC Bank for 7 years, where she became acquainted with the employees of C. Winchell Agency. The “favorite teller” at the bank always joked about wanting to come work for C. Winchell Agency. When an opportunity became available, the "joking" became a reality. Danielle is the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President, Cassandra Banko, as well as our back up to Tina, Executive Assistant to the President, Cindy Winchell.

Marie Gleason
Internet/ Marketing Research Specialist – marie@cwinchellagency.com

Marie joined us in late 2016. Originally from NY, Marie moved here to The Poconos in 1986. After raising her children and supporting her husband with his local business, she took a huge LEAP and went back to college! Marie earned a Bachelors Degree in Management from East Stroudsburg University in 2016. She is a WHIZ on the computer and is responsible for our internal insurance recruiting systems and databases. Searching for resumes on various boards and engines is also one of her her key responsibilities. Having a super high energy level and vivacious personality makes everyday with Marie “fun times” here at C. Winchell Agency.


The Agency is entirely computerized with "state of the art" hardware and software, which enables us to maintain total confidential control of all our clients and applicants. We have numerous built-in, cross-referencing capabilities and have a long established "web-site" on the Internet at www.cwinchellagency.com. Each week you can find an average of close to 500 jobs on our website, along with 100 of our top jobs listed on CareerBuilder, Monster, JobFox, LinkedIn, Ladders and many others.

Since opening the Agency, we have placed individuals in P&C positions at more than 800 client companies, including many of the largest national P&C insurers and their subsidiaries, a large number of domestic and international reinsurers as well as the top national brokers, large-mid sized regional brokers as well as many, "main street" agencies. Our client base also includes the most well-known claim service/TPA's and large self insured corporations for in-house claims and risk management personnel.

You will note that the majority of the experience of our employees is insurance-related, and our recruiting firm does not become involved in any other field. Within the insurance industry, we handle Underwriters, Claim Professionals, Accountants, Agency Account Representatives, Programmers & System Analysts, Human Resources, Reinsurance and all other areas of Operations, Product Development, Marketing & Support as well as Life, Health and Benefits.

We would like to point out that we are not "head hunters". We do not "raid" our client companies. Rather, we rely on networking, referrals and the Internet through various search engines, along with current applicants to locate appropriate candidates for our client companies. All such candidates are interviewed extensively and we do not refer candidates unless we believe they truly "fit" the position in question. We will also do reference checks whenever requested by a client to do so. We do not, however, do credit or criminal checks.
