C. Winchell Agency was incorporated in Pennsylvania in May of 1992 after fifteen years of experience in the recruiting field. Our Agency handles only Insurance-related Personnel.

 
Cindy Winchell
President/CEO

I began my career handling diversified insurance placements, specializing in the claims area with Snelling & Snelling in 1978, and since that time, I have worked solely in the insurance industry, including a stint with AIG as an Assistant Human Resources Director. I managed a branch office of an established recruiting firm in New Jersey for 12 years, where I created their insurance division prior to starting

C. Winchell Agency in 1992.

RECRUITING EXPERTISE: Upper level management and VP candidates as well as environmental, medical malpractice, general liability, professional liability claims and underwriting. All Information Technology openings, ocean marine underwriting and claims, risk management and human resources. JD/Counsel positions and those “unique-hard to fill” searches for all of the P&C/Reinsurance and Broker venues across the country.

Aaron Winchell
CFO

After graduating college with a Bachelor’s Degree in 1994, Aaron began his insurance career as an Underwriting Trainee with Greater New York Insurance. He later moved to Kemper Insurance Group as an International Property & Casualty Underwriter. Aaron is responsible for all accounting and financial matters. He is also responsible for all internal Human Resources/Benefits related issues and is “2nd in command” if you will. Even with our growth and success, we still remain “a family business”!

Cassandra Banko
Recruiting Operations Supervisor / Manager

Cassandra joined our company in 1996 following nine years with PNC Bank as the Assistant Branch Manager in their Pocono Pines branch. Her extensive financial and accounting background allows us to service our client's increasing demand in these areas for recruiting support. Cassandra was promoted to her current position in January 2002 where she manages the day-to-day operational activities, as well as providing day-to-day recruiting guidance and strategy to our less senior recruiters while continuing her own recruiting efforts.

RECRUITING EXPERTISE: All financial, accounting, auditing, agency bookkeepers, reinsurance claims and reinsurance underwriting Nationwide.

Michael Reeves
Underwriting Recruiting Manager

Michael came to C. Winchell Agency with a diverse underwriting background spanning sixteen years. His experience includes commercial property and casualty lines, as well as umbrella and workers compensation policies. He also has diverse carrier background that ranges from the “mutual” to “international” carrier environment. Michael also supervises our agency and underwriting recruiting staff and is an integral part of our middle management team.

RECRUITING EXPERTISE: Commercial underwriting, rating, operations quality assurance and marketing throughout New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Nationwide as well as commercial and personal lines agency/broker professionals throughout New York and Connecticut.

Jen Roddy
Claims Recruiting Specialist

After attending East Stroudsburg University for Media Communications and Technology, Jen joined the agency in 2005 as our Internet Researcher and in 2006 was quickly promoted to Executive Assistant to Cindy Winchell. In this role, she handled a variety of tasks, including being the liaison for Cindy Winchell on all recruiting and company matters. Jen’s commitment, dedication and strong customer service background made for a logical and easy choice to step into a recruiting role on our Claims Team.

RECRUITING EXPERTISE: All automobile, property and workers compensation claims Nationwide.

Heidi Daley
Agency/Broker Recruiting Specialist

Heidi Daley recently joined our recruiting staff, taking over our very active Agency/Broker desk for South Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Heidi attended Millersville University, Millersville, PA. Over the years, Heidi has been an advocate for special needs children, having raised 4 until they were eligible for group homes. Most recently, Heidi has sold real estate for Coldwell Banker and was a sales representative for Liberty Medical Supplies.

RECRUITING EXPERTISE: Commercial and personal lines agency/broker as well as life and health professionals throughout Southern New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland.

Barbara Mongelli
Manager - Administration & Operations

Joining us in 1999 and a graduate from Allentown Business School Barbara became a very important member of our secretarial/support staff. She is now our Administrative Manager, having full responsibility for all daily support functions and manages all of our secretarial/administrative employees. Barbara also has overall responsibility for our in-house computer, server, individual computers, databases and E-mail system. Thanks to all of her efforts over the years, we have one of the fastest, efficient, “insurance related recruiting” systems out there!

Geri Moyer
Assistant Manager - Administration & Operations

Geri joined C. Winchell Agency in January of 2000 as our receptionist. Her 20 years of previous customer service experience helped her to quickly climb the ranks of our administration/operations department and in 2006 she was promoted to Administration Team Leader. She has excelled in her new position and was once again promoted in 2007 to Assistant Manager of Administration and Operations. Her responsibilities include the oversight of the Administrative Department as well as creating and maintaining all of our databases. She is also the “point-person” for all of the agency’s “special projects”. Geri can “do it all” and that is a rare employee!

The Agency is entirely computerized with "state of the art" hardware and software, which enables us to maintain total confidential control of all our clients and applicants. We have numerous built-in, cross-referencing capabilities and have a long established "web-site" on the Internet at www.cwinchellagency.com. Each week you can find an average of close to 500 jobs on our website, along with 100 of our top jobs listed on CareerBuilder.com as well as accounts with Monster and JobFox.

Since opening the Agency, we have placed individuals in P&C positions at more than 500 client companies, including many of the largest national P&C insurers and their subsidiaries, a large number of domestic and international reinsurers as well as the top national brokers, large-mid sized regional brokers as well as many, "main street" agencies. Our client base also includes the most well-known claim service/TPA's and large self insured corporations for in-house claims and risk management personnel.

You will note that the majority of the experience of our employees is insurance-related, and our recruiting firm does not become involved in any other field. Within the insurance industry, we handle Underwriters, Claim Professionals, Accountants, Agency Account Representatives, Programmers & System Analysts, Human Resources, Reinsurance and all other areas of Operations, Product Development, Marketing & Support as well as Life, Health and Benefits.

We would like to point out that we are not "head hunters". We do not "raid" client companies. Rather, we rely on advertising, referrals, the Internet through various search engines, along with current applicants to locate appropriate candidates for our client companies. All such candidates are interviewed extensively and we do not refer candidates unless we believe they truly "fit" the position in question. We will also do reference checks whenever requested by a client to do so. We do not, however, do credit or criminal checks.
