Description:

Develop client relationships to generate submission opportunities and a regular flow of Wholesale Commercial P&C miscellaneous professional liability business. Review submission documents received to prepare additional information including: loss pics/summaries, loss stratifications, risk summaries, narratives, online research and requesting additional information needed from the client. Select and market the risk, by line of coverage, to markets to negotiate terms and pricing. Provide comparisons and illustrations to compare options and support client presentation process. Utilize knowledge of automated systems to develop information for new or renewal policies. Prepare quotations for clients and answer inquiries from clients, policyholder, or prospects. Review requests for cancellation, endorsements, etc. Review policies for renewal consideration and remarketing. Request additional documentation necessary for the processing of an application, endorsement or cancellation. Conduct marketing visits to clients and attend industry events. Work with support associates, assistants and central processing to assure work is completed in a timely manner and with accuracy. This may include mentorship and guidance of the team member working with you on risks.

Requirement:

Must have Producers License. 3+ years of insurance experience. Basic familiarity with computers. Good oral and written communications skills. Strong analytical skills and the ability to pay attention to details. A high sense of urgency. Resourceful and controlled assertive behavior characteristics. Must have demonstrated negotiation and sales skills. Technical knowledge of insurance coverage forms and their application to exposure.
