Job Title : Large Group Account Manager

   Description : Work closely within a team environment including the Producer, Benefits Leader and senior members of the Employee Benefits team assigned to the prospect to gather, review and evaluate current benefit plans, financial data and funding arrangements. Organize current data into a format that can be used to market the account and may be used as summary of key information about prospect. Meet with prospect as part of the team, as required. For new and renewal clients, work closely with the Producer and sales team to prepare and manage RFP process. Identify client’s needs and introduce services as appropriate. Analyze RFP results, negotiate with carriers and prepare presentations. Prepare and manage a timeline for the implementation process. Preparation of employee communication pieces. Review contracts and summary plan descriptions. Meet via conference calls with the carriers and the client to stay on track and cover all aspects of implementation. Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with clients, vendors and teammates. Follow through with Producer(s) on presented proposals to find out outcome. Update and maintain assigned accounts in our agency management system. Provide ongoing consultation by answering administration questions, plan recommendations, discussing regulatory updates, assistance with escalated claim issues at the client level, service issues with the carriers and serving as a resource to the client for all benefit related needs.
